Sculptra

What is it?

Sculptra is an injectable that works with your body to stimulate natural collagen growth over time. Once injected, Sculptra helps replace lost collagen. This results in restoring volume and fullness, and decreases the appearance of wrinkles and folds on the skin. Results last around 2 years for most patients. 

What to expect?

Once we discuss areas of concerns with you, we will apply topical numbing cream. We will use a fine needle to inject the Sculptra. Bruising is a possibility after each session. Results will appear over time in 6-8 weeks following injections, with continued collagen production for up to 1 year. **After each session you will be instructed to massage the area for 5 minutes, 5 times a day for 5 days.

Things to consider:

Sculptra stimulates a natural process in your skin, so results are achieved over time, giving you natural results. You will be injected every 4-6 weeks for 2-4 sessions. In most cases results last 2 years. You will need to avoid extreme heat and exercise for 24 hours.
