What is it?

Microneedling is a favorite at Nuud Skin Co. We love that is helps boost what your skin naturally does! Microneedling pokes little tiny needles into your skin (don’t worry we put numbing cream on your face) which helps boost collagen and elastin production and turn over skin cells. This allows for tighter and brighter skin! It helps all the good products penetrate deeper into your skin. It also evens out skin tone, so works on hyperpigmentation (brown spots or old acne spots), scarring from acne or other issues, and tightens skin!

What to expect:

Once your face is clean, we will out numbing cream on and wait 20 minutes. Once numb we will start microneedling. It is normal to have petechia (pinpoint bleeding) during procedure. You will leave with a red face. You will be given a recovery kit with everything you need for the 4 days following the procedure.

Things to consider:

Consider the timing of your appointment. You cannot exercise or wear makeup for 24 hours. It is recommended to do a series of 3-5 until desired results are reached. With an appropriate skin care regimen, you can just have maintenance sessions.
